Human Resources Manager (f/m/d)

Your mission
The Human Resources Manager at KAYA Soluções Climáticas, LDA, will be responsible for the staff and resource topics. Being part of a Luanda-based organisation, the role requires expertise in human resource topics in an Angolan context. The incumbent in this role should be agile, methodical, and results-driven. At the same time, they should be empathetic in developing congruous teams and growth paths for individuals. They will report to the Country Director and work closely with the Heads (Executive Team) in KAYA Angola and KAYA Germany. The role is to be filled right away.
Your responsibilities
  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding process 
  • Steer the learning and development program for the employees as well as the organisation in close cooperation with the leadership team 
  • Advise the leadership team on HR related matters, including the provision of legislative updates, retention, and retirement
  • Represent the company before the labour authorities and other government agencies
  • Support the Finance Department with the Payroll
  • Lead the immigration, work travel, and HR-related insurance processes and arrangements
  • Lead the leave, sabbatical, office, events, and other HR-related processes and activities
  • Steer the physical and digital knowledge and information management in the organisation 
  • Steer the periodic employee review and appraisal processes in close cooperation with the leadership team 
  • Support the Angola Country Director in general executive tasks
  • Steer dialogue and exchange between KAYA Angola and the HR team in KAYA Germany
  • Conduct organisational meetings like our Biweeklies by building the agenda and ensuring the readiness of departments and presentations
Your profile
  • Over three years of experience in leading the abovementioned HR processes with a strong sense of calling for them 
  • Strong knowledge of Angolan labour laws 
  • Experience in administering Personio or a similar HR Information System is desirable 
  • Willingness to live and work in Luanda 
  • Willingness to commit to a full-time (40 hours) role  
  • Willingness to travel overseas for work, especially to Germany
  • Possibility to see samples of work done and contact former employers for references 
  • In addition to Portuguese fluency, working knowledge of English 
  • Specialised training in one or another necessary HR skill is a plus 
  • Education in human resource management is desirable
